Book Reviews of MommywoodBook Review: Great insight into the real Tori Spelling Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book...it's an easy read and will give you an insight into the real Tori Spelling -- not the image you may have of the spoiled little rich girl. It's clear that she's a great mom and while she does live a privileged life, she also has the same guilt, fears, and conflicts that many moms face(work vs. career, stepmom vs. mom, mom vs. wife, etc.). I find it interesting that all the negative reviews say the same thing (to the effect of "Tori, call your mom") -- makes me think they are Candy supporters and/or friends. Tori, keep up the good work -- this books makes it apparent that you're a GREAT Mommywood mom!
Book Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
Mommywood by Tori Speling is great, IF you are a mother or are interested in children. This book is about her children, the realities of being a mother and doing so in hollywood. While I have heard other people say they enjoyed sTori TELING better, that book is about her. I prefer Mommywood to sTORI TELLING, I love hearing about Liam and Stella and her adventures in being a mom, actress, entrapreneur, wife and friend. She is honest and hilarious. The events of her life are not sugar coated but real and imperfect. She is the girl next door and I like Tori Spelling more now than ever. I highly recommend!
Book Review: HYSTERICAL...AGAIN...She does it AGAIN! Summary: 5 Stars
Tori...I love her. You will want her to be your FRIEND...lol...she is just so stinkin' funny and down to earth. I read her first book. Then I read her mother's book...and now this one. Her mother is honestly missing something. But Tori, gets it. She makes her shortcomings known and her feud with her mother is obvious...but at least Tori owns her BS and admits her shortcomings. Her mother, clearly has no clue and is always the victim. I adore Tori Spellings and it wasn't that way until I read her books. I hope she will write another...and another. (yep, I'm a mother, by the way.)
Book Review: Great easy read, entertaining read...Keep them coming Tori Summary: 5 Stars
Great, easy read and very entertaining. I love her first book and am enjoying this one also. She cracks me up. The openness and courage to share her life like this is something I admire her for. I too had difficulties in my relationship with my mother so it is easy to relate to a lot she is saying in the book. I loved 90210 but never truly got into the Donna Martin character, but watching her show and now reading her books, she is one amazing person and mother. God bless you Tori and your family..keep the books coming..
Book Review: A very entertaining, fast read. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this after reading Tori's first book, StoriTelling. If you loved StoriTelling, I highly reccomend you buy this one, because you will love it. Tori comes accross as a genuinely nice, down to earth person, loving wife and mother. I felt like I could really relate to her on many levels and she kept me laughing throughout. The picture section was really cute- her family is adorable. Tori deserves all the happiness in the world and I think she is prettier than ever- despite what the haters say...
