Molly stands well on her own two feet! She looks scholastic with her glasses, and very friendly. Her knitted sweater is soft, and with the cloth body below she is nice to hold. Her glasses are tiny and fragile. The abridged hard cover book tells Molly's story (one comes with each American Girl mini doll) and has lovely illustrations! Molly represents a girl growing up during WWII.Book Review: What a Doll!!!

My sister got this doll for my daughter for Christmas. What I want to know is, with dolls like these around, why on EARTH would anyone want to buy a Barbie doll? This doll is sweet, great quality, detailed clothing fitting for the era, and age appropriate for my 5-year-old. I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone, and the price is right! Our daughter loves this mini doll. She's just the right size for little hands and hearts! She comes with wire glasses, which our daughter didn't want. We've put the glasses away for "another day". Clothes and hair are well-made and so cute!Book Review: American Girl Mollie Mini
