Book Review: Just what I needed!
Summary: 5 Stars
I'm trying to teach myself to use watercolours and this little book is perfect for practicing techniques and strokes without wasting full-size sheets of watercolour paper or cutting them into trial size bits. The pages are thick enough to take lots of water and even though they'll curl a bit, when closed the elastic keeps everything nice and flat so using the other side of the page later is never a problem. Also, the binding is excellent - if paint reaches the inner edge, it doesn't seep onto other pages... however I try not to be over-zealous with the paint toward the outer edges. I also make notes on each page so I'll know what I was trying to achieve, what colours I used and what steps I took. It's cute, it's sleek and I love it! I'll definitely buy these again!
