Book Review: Fun for travel notes

What a fun little book!
I typically try to take notes during vacations. I refer to them for my photo captions and when reviewing hotels or restaurants, and keeping track of spending. I usually also have a folder going with printed out itineraries, but this time I transfered some useful details into the book.
This is great for a longer stay in a city like Barcelona. We were there for a week, and unless you are a very wordy note-taker, a shorter stay might not make the book a good buy- unless you wanted to add other notes from other cities to this book.
If you haven't figured it out yet, this is sort of a do-it-yourself travel journal.
The map pages, while small, were very detailed.
The size was excellent- would fit into a purse or pocket without taking much space.
There were 3 attached book marks, and a useful elastic to hold a page or the book shut.
There was a pocket at the back for loose items.
There were stickers to add your own labels to the tabbed pages at the back of the book.
There were plenty of blank pages- this is where I entered my daily notes.
You can make notes ahead of time to remind yourself of museum opening hours or costs, metro lines to take, and pertinant info so that you don't have to lug a guide book around.
Entering some airline details ahead of the trip proved helpful at the end of our trip, as we we had a travel delay and needed to contact the airline, and as it was at the end of our trip, the full-size travel folder was packed pretty deep in my bag at that point.
There was really nothing to dislike about this book, other than a wish that there were some blank general travel ones with the same set of page info.
If you have never journaled or taken notes while traveling before, this may be a bit intimidating. But if you do- get this book! What a great addition it made to a fabulous week in Barcelona!
