I received this book as a gift while I was still pregnant and absolutely love it. It is such a beautiful and peaceful artistic expression of newborn babies. Babies are only this tiny for such a short time. It will be nice to have to look back through as my child grows.
Regarding Dr. Gish's "child abuse" review. Consider this, Dr. Gish rated Paris Hilton and Tatum O'Neal's books 5 stars. Obviously, Dr. Gish's simple-minded taste in literature and art is not suited to works such as Miracle: A Celebration of New Life.

I picked up, "Miracle: A Celebration of New Life" because I love Celine Dion's music. I have watched her as she took a break from the hectic life of show business to nurture her son. Before opening up the book, I thought that it would be of her and her son. What I found was lots of pictures of other babies. All where beautifully portayed. Celine's "from the heart" music added zest to this work of art. The DVD topped it all off. I liked how they let us see how the work came about!
It is a must book for all mothers.

I can't stress how much I anticipated this musical and pictoral consanguinity between Céline Dion and Anne Geddes to be released. Motherhood is a painfully overwhelming experience that insubstantial men never have to denounce. Céline sings with such genuine affection that I almost burst into tears when I hear her voice. It is truly a miracle that this adroit work of art has the healing power to overcome malevolent misogynists in the world.

Anne is truly a gem, and with this incredible book, this duo with Celine they fill the need that people have to celebrate the life of the newborn through song and sight.
Celine is one of the most gifted vocalists of our generation and she has a great love for her son and I am so happy that she paired up with a photographer who could adequately capture that love and celebration.
A must have for new parents or grandparents!
