Book Reviews of Mindstorms Robotics Invention System 2.0Book Review: our third graders love it Summary: 5 Stars
We bought Lego Mindstorms last summer in Legoland. This has been very popular with all of our kids ages 8 to 9.5. They simply followed the directions in the manual to make several different robots (over a period of days). Programming them with a computer, however, took some adult assistance at first. We still haven't explored all of the possibilities.
Book Review: Mindstorms review Summary: 5 Stars
This toy is excellent at allowing us, the children, to have fun while we begin to comprehend simple and comlex mechanical interfacing. I used it and loow how intelligent I am. Durability, it's lego. I've had them since I was four. Eight years later, there's still castles on my desk. I definetly think that mindstorms should get a five star rating.
Book Review: It's fun Summary: 5 Stars
This thing is so fun! I don't have one but I use them at school all the time. The programming is very easy, so I think It is a good toy to buy. Also whats fun is a remote control for it, but if someone bought it for you for an educational purpose, they might not want you to use it because you don't progam it. But it is fun to control a robot.
Book Review: Lego Mindstorms 2.0 Summary: 5 Stars
Its the best thing I've ever had. For some kids it may look as a lego kit for me i see an educational toy. You can build endless items out of this unit. If you get the remote you can do even more things. Mostly it has everthing and more. I belive if you get this RCX 2.0 you will have hours and hours of fun no matter what the age even I did (...).
Book Review: Not enough pieces! Summary: 5 Stars
Believe it or not, 717 blocks is not enough. Within a few days of receiving the set, I can see where the Ultimate Expansion would be great to have. However, this is certainly one of the best "toys" I've ever purchased. The level of thought that goes into producing something of value with it is astounding. I recommend it to everyone!
