Save this zip file to your harddrive. You should have previously installed the mindstorms software and the USB tower. Unplug your USB tower, restart your machine and follow the installation instructions. The freeze issue should now be a thing of the past.

This is the world's coolest toy! It is too bad that Amazon doesn't stock all of it's accessorys. You can go to lego.com to purchase a remote control/programmer for it and extra motors and sensors. I wish that you could purchase those here...
Anyway, this toy is the by far best product made by lego and that is saying something!!!!

I am tweleve and saved money from my birthday, holidays and allowance to buy it. I thougth I was missing a piece but then I found it. My dad was so happy I could figure it out, and program it. In the begining we looked on toys r us to find a good price. If you buy it directly from lego, it will come faster with out shipping and handling. I love this toy. Buy it! We purchased this kit to use for the FIRST LEGO Robotics competition. The training provided was sufficient for my son to figure out the basics. It's been fun working with him and watching him figure this new toy out. It's terrific for teaching logic and rudimentary object languange organization. Wish I'd had this in my college robotics studies 20 years ago. What a great way to learn!Book Review: It is Mac friendly too!

We just had a Lego Mindstorm competition in my university organized by IEEE. This toy is addictive and lots of fun. I can't wait to our regional mindstorm competition so I can play with this kit again. One more thing, you can still use it if you own a Mac (I have a Mac), you just have to download the freeware from the Internet. That way you can enjoy the best computer with the best toy!
