Book Review: Cool Thing!

Ok.. We made a robot in school with this set. Once we found out we were making robots, everyone was like YEAH! But when we got frustrated and screwed up (*cough* me and my friends ..whom had to start all over again after halfway done!!!*cough*)we felt like throwing it off the wall!! But we DID get it done! I recomend this for any one! Even adults! You will get a kick out of this!! I also like it because of all the robots you can build and all the things you can add on! Oh an 1 more usless thing.. Lets go M.A. Robotics Team!!! =D~*~Jenna~*~
Book Review: Wow even for me, an eleven year old boy!

You people will be astonished of how fun this is. When I opened up this present last year at Chrismas I didn't think it was going to be MY kind of fun. Thaen after I opened the rest of the gifts I saw the alreadey opened present under the tree. What else would a kid do if he or she was given a presenet they wouldn't have liked? I said to mysef "It is worth it". So I opened it up and started building I had so much fun trying to do that, that I destoyed the first one and made another. As you can see I want you to at LEAST take a look at it.Book Review: AWESOME

Sometimes you can't do EXACTLY what you want. So you must work with what you have.
programming can be hard at times
Some RCXs come with AC adapters built in, Some don't. Its a gamble, and i lost.
Overall This is a great way of learning and having fun. Kinda like the Phonics Game..... just not as.... stupid.

I last personnaly used legos 25 years ago. LEGO Mindstorms made me do a come back. It has a great educationnal value when used with kids. It has enormous value if you like to experiment with robots. It takes few hours of my time regularly.
I even proposed it to our kids' school as one of the extra curiculum actvities. For two years in a row I taught robotics to kids of the age 8 to 11. You just had to see their eyes when the robots did what they were programed to do.

LEGO Mindstorms is a truly revolutionary product. It lets you deisgn and program your own LEGO models as well as build some of the ones in the instructions. My brother and I really get a kick out of making cars that will move, and we're currently working on a robot that will greet me when I turn on the light in my room. the instructions are a little bit hard to understand sometimes, but overall, this is an amazing, easy, fun toy.
P.S.: It works flawlessly with our Windows XP computer!
