Book Review: lego's best toy ever made

if you buy toy it cost $200 but it is funest toy ever made. i would highly recomend it to eneyone and everyone. if you have an windows xp dont worry about about if it's not working thairs a patch on lego.com for what ever does not work, i have an windows xp and for me the infer-red tower was not working so they had a patch for it. thair is traning misions chalenges and pro chalenges, i've done all of the chalenges and pro chalenges so now im looking for the Ultimate Builders Set it is very rare and i cant find it eneywhere ecept on ebay it's on sale for over $200 and in 2001 it was onely $60 so it has raised tremendesly. so if you like robotics and programing and building in yore spare time buy it off the internet it's probly not in eany store.

My son got the Lego Mindstorm 2.0 this summer. He has not gone a day without building something. This set is compatible with other Lego sets(Spybotics, Dark side destroyer, Droid Developer kit). It has opened up all sorts of learning paths for him (building, designing, programming, physics, mathematics, researching, problem solving,...). There are some problems if you are operating with the WIN XP operating system. They are easily solved by doing a little research on the internet or calling the Lego Mindstorms tech support. The tech support is VERY helpful! This set is worth every penny! It is a great set for beginners as well as more advanced users.Book Review: Here is an awesome toy!

Hi,I recently recieved a LEGO Robotics Invention Kit and boy does it work!!! The software does work on windows 2000 but it doesn't say it does on the box. also, it can use three motors but comes with only two. The programing is relatively easy and there is all sorts of cool add-ons. I am currently trying to find where in my city I can buy the vision command. There is only one problem with it. The RCX takes six AA batteries and they only last for about forty hours of use. I recommend getting very powerful nickelmetalhydride rechargable batteries with the RCX.Other then that, though, this is really a perfect toy for the mechanicly inclined.

WOW! this is the best lego set, even toy, ever! I do not yet have my own set, but i am in a robotics club that uses this for a competition, and it blows my mind at how much we can do with it. I have personally built a robot that is wire-remote controlled using two touch sensors to make it move. The only other accessories that you should buy are the Ultimate Builders Set and the ROBOLAB software. I am doubtful that you would find it on this site, but if and when you find it, it will be worth the money. Since I am at the end of this review, I will tell you one more thing. I am simply amazed at the versatility of this "toy." Out of the package I would have loved this as a kid since it doesn't require a degree to get started. Yet, a high school diploma and college degree since the last time I played with Legos, I can download advanced programming environments and build my own robot sensors for nerdy adult fun! Just don't think you can get away with only this kit. You will soon want -er- need the expansion kits for extra parts. This is not a cheap Lego kit but if you've checked out your local toy store you'll realize they actaully never have been. This set is well worth the cost for Lego maniacs of all ages.
