Book Review: Well worth the read, more than worth the viewing

This book gives great insight into the making of all the Floyd albums that were designed by Storm Thorgerson and his design collaborative know as Hipgnosis. It covers nearly all Pink Floyd albums from "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" through "Echoes", the most recent 'best of' Floyd compilation. Also included are explanations into the making of the artwork for less familiar, but equally impressive Pink Floyd related items, such as posters, booklets, tour programs, and other promotional items. It is important to realize that because this book is from the perspective of Storm Thorgerson, it does not concern itself with artwork for "The Wall" or "The Final Cut" since he was not involved in designing or creating the artwork for those albums. Regardless, this is a great book with a lot of interesting personal and artistic insight. A book that any Pink Floyd fan will surely enjoy reading.
