I just received this book as a gift and it's great. Ruven Afanador is one of the best fashion and celebrity photographers working today. I've always been a fan of his, so I especially enjoyed seeing his extended take on one subject.
The book is a little over the top (just like flamenco!), and that's what I most like about it. The Amazon review is dead-on when it references Pedro Almodovar. Like all the best photo art books, there are a number of images that feel completely new and completely classic at the same time.
I was very surprised to see one of the reviews here. To me, the front and back covers of the book give an extremely clear indication of what to expect from the inside.
