Book Review: RIO'S STORY, WOW!

Couldn't have asked for a better story. I have loved this whole series and was thrilled that Rio's story was out. Dylan was a great character and really held her own in this story. And Rio was . . . well, just Rio. Struggling to adjust after almost being killed, being scarred for life, and having been betrayed by a woman he had loved. To find someone like Dylan was just perfect for him. I'm not sure why some of the people think Dylan wasn't very smart. Terrific story. Can't wait for the next one. Book Review: Lara Adrian has done it again!

This book is about Rio, the vampire who ended up half burned and half crazed by the betrayal of his Breedmate. In this book he meets with Dylan, a Breedmate who sees ghost and sees the ghost of Eva, Rio's dead Breedmate, who asks of her to rescue Rio.
The book is very much in the style of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series, and I loved it. The only thing that I would like is that when Rio talks in Spanish the Spanish was well-written, because it had some flaws.

The Formula has gotten old. I could not wait to read Rio's story after reading Tegan's story. I was starting to really like this series although it is a BlackDaggerBro.Hood Rip-off. It was a pretty good Rip-off. But she bored me with the heroinne what's-her-name and Rio's Alphaness never really came to fruition. Do Better Ms. Adrian. Also, that fake wanna-be-Butch-Cop was a douche in this book.
