Book Reviews of Michael Jackson ConspiracyBook Review: amazing read Summary: 5 Stars
I did not grow up a real Jackson fan--he was just in the background of my life, but the recent hype has piqued my interest and I have taken a sincere interest in the music and the man.
I could not put this book down--I stayed up late, wide-eyed, which is very rare for me. And I cannot believe how Aphrodite Jones' important, courageous, and clear-minded voice has been nearly fully drowned out in the current media circus. I hope she will get some high-profile chances to reiterate her case. And perhaps issue a new edition with some updated thoughts and information. I think she forgot to mention, for example, a snide and implicitly racist comment of Sneddon to Chris Tucker when he took the stand (she talks about it in an interview online somewhere), which is subtle but telling, and the jury took note.
One wonders how the case made it to court, and why it wasn't dismissed midway, as the defense requested. What was Judge Melville thinking?
One marvels also at Jackson's naivete. While several other celebrities picked up on the Arvizos' schemingness relatively quickly (e.g. Jay Leno after just a phone call), Jackson never did and so innocently let them in.
All I can think is that yes, Jackson's innocent behavior ultimately led him to his death, thanks to one family's madness. But it was part of a bigger picture, in which Jackson helped countless children, families, causes, in his life, thanks to that same peerless generosity and compassion.
I wonder how these Arvizos sleep at night, especially the kids. They have surely been damaged beyond repair on multiple levels.
I also read all of Maureen Orth's condemning reports (Vanity Fair, all available online)--I read them before this book, and they were nagging at me, they seemed too biased, too full of Sneddon's side. The Jones report has a better tone, drier, more believable.
Book Review: Fascinating read Summary: 5 Stars
It's been a long time since I've read a book that I simply could NOT put down. I had never read a "true crime" book before until now, nor had I ever heard of Aphrodite Jones before. As a matter of fact, I found her while looking up an MJ video on YouTube and saw "Michael Jackson - Aphrodite Jones" and thought "Aphrodite Jones" was an MJ song/video I'd never heard or seen before. LOL! And, that's my funny story about how I found this little gem of a book.
Since I was, obviously, not that big of a fan, I didn't pay too much attention to the 1993 stuff and in 2003 when he was in trouble again for allegedly the same thing, well, I shook my head and thought "They finally got him!" But then, that day a few years later when he was acquitted of all 14 counts - 14! I became a little skeptical. You would think that if someone was TRULY GUILTY, something would have stuck, right? Hmmmm....
Life goes on, and I didn't care too much. I figured Michael Jackson was gone for good. (I certainly would have been!) Then after he died, I started to do my own research into the case and came to my own conclusions about the whole sorry mess. My thinking about Michael Jackson - and those ugly allegations against him, changed quite drastically and that's when I found this book. It arrived on Friday; I was done by Saturday.
Mrs. Jones gets a standing ovation from me and 5 gold stars. It's quite apparent - after reading this - why a jury found Michael Jackson "not guilty." Not only did I come away from this fascinating read thinking MJ innocent of the 2003 allegations; I came away thinking he was innocent of the 1993 allegations as well.
This book is one that EVERYONE should read. It is a wake-up call to everybody to question the media and their motives. More importantly, it's a call for everyone to stop being so LAZY and THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!!
Book Review: APHRODITE JONES: Michael Jackson Conspiracy Summary: 5 Stars
This lady was one of the media 'HELL PACK' that made Princess Diana's life hell and also Michael Jackson. She attended the trial expecting to find a monster being punished for his crimes and instead found herself horrified at the complete disregard for the truth that was reported by her colleagues in the media. She came to realise that there was a conspiracy afoot and that an innocent man was to pay the price for not giving the press the scandal and filth that pays their wages and sells the cheap tabloid newspapers. Following the trial, realising that the media had no intention of printing even a modicum of truth, of giving an innocent man a chance to resume his life, she contacted Thomas Mesereau, Michael's lawyer. He dismissed her as just another tabloid freak for quite a while, but eventually started to listen to her and so the quest for the truth to be told was born. It is now 2010, five years after Michael was aquitted and we, the fans are fighting hard now. We have in our possession, personal statements, FBI documents etc etc and we are determined now - should it take the rest of our lives - that we will see this tabloid media and other racist haters brought to their knees, Bashir and Tom Sneddon included - we will not rest until a full apology is made for Michael and his family and we urge everyone who is still in full possession of their senses and has not been brainwashed with Illuminati New World Order propaganda, to read this book and decide for themselves, who is telling the truth. Then please question what else they are telling you - each and every day
Thank you Amazon for selling this amazing book - please read for yourselves and then research the facts - you will then have no need to listen to the paid 'haters' in this world who target every social network and every site trying to poison you against free speech and free thought.
Book Review: Ultimately the truth will prevail. Summary: 5 Stars
There is much I can say that will extol and praise this book on its bluntness and its veracity. Ms. Jones has done an preeminent job on revealing the hard cold facts on this eerie case. It actually hard to imagine how this got into trial.
The Arivzos family were conspicuously con artists, but inferring one can see that Michael Jackson had gave them the benefit of the doubt. Clearly he loved Gavin and his despicable, ungrateful family and in return got a slap in the face.
There was no tangible evidence that displayed Jackson as a pedophile.
A person with intelligence can see vividly how ravenous this family is for money. Everything is about money, even the cancer child Gavin Arivzo, the alleged "victim" is hungry after money. It's sickens me to see how the people can be so fixated and obsess with the green bill, even willing to extort someone and situating that person in prison.
Ms. Jones demonstrated how blind the media and those who follow their scummy ways can be. Ignoring and becoming oblivious to every sole thing that shown Michael Jackson as the true victim.
It's awful that only after his death people cared, people yearn to know more about this man, but that is human nature and its better late than never.
I find myself with tears in my eyes after finishing the book, asking myself how can a human being endured all this? From the media scrutiny to being judge on every bantam thing you do.
It frightens me just thinking about it.
Kudos to the jurors for seeing through the crazy Arivzo clan and looking at all evidence.
Well, maybe except for the two that crawled out to receive some fame two months after the trial.
All in all, this is a stupendous book that will convey its readers about the trial and the facts that our media friends never acknowledged.
Book Review: The Best Book About The Jackson Allegations Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best book about the Michael Jackson allegations that I have read. The author makes as much sense of the allegations and the District Attorney's case against Michael Jackson as a rational person possible can. In other words, the case is exposed as a ridiculous, incoherent mess that should never have gone as far as it did. However, the book is not just about the Michael Jackson trial, but also about the media and the author as a member of the media. It gives just a glimpse into the world of journalism - especially the shortcomings of the covering of events like the Jackson trial. The majority of the media was clearly invested in a guilty verdict right from the start and had plans for all kinds of disturbing specials concerning Jackson's struggles in prison - it was going to be milked for all it was worth and the process had already started long before the trail. I saw specials about what kind of medical treatment/plastic surgery Jackson would have had access to in prison - this kind of thing was grossly inappropriate and immature and was going to continue after the expected guilty verdict. When it didn't come, the shocked journalists moved onto the next big story without giving any real thought into where and why they went wrong with their opinions, information and covering. The media built public expectations of guilt which were not fulfilled, so instead of being properly informed about the case against Jackson, the public remains convinced that he is guilty and "got away with it." Aphrodite Jones has been one of the few journalists to explore how she and others became sucked into that kind of mentality and approach towards a subject they should have treated fairly. She should be applauded for that, for going against the grain in writing this book and promoting it despite being shunned by certain sections of the media.
