Book Review: TOUCHES THE SOUL..

Messgae In the Bottle has got to be one of the best novels i've ever read. It was just so touching, so warm..something you could relate to.. many found it unrealistic and Garrett annoying...but it just shows us true love...it shows us that when you really love someone you love them forver..no matter what...though..yes,after a while you do learn to go on with life...and Garett does realise that in the end doesn't he? when he finally writes his last letter to catherine...knowning it was her that did send the bottle to Theresa. "who do you think sent that bottle to her?" Its ending did make me cry though...but it also showed us that life doesnt always go the way we want it to, right? I thought it was just lovely. Everything about it was just perfect....a must read.Book Review: Message from the Sea

In this book Nicholas Sparks tells the story of two people who thought they would never love again. The main character, Theresa Osborne, found a tied up letter in a bottle that was written to a woman named Catherine. Theresa immediately fell in love with the letter and was persuaded to find the man who wrote it. Theresa found the author of the letter, Garrett, and to make a long story short, the two fell in a love. Theresa and Garrett's relationship came to a pause when Theresa needed Garett to get over his past. The tearjerker story is well written and very interesting to read. Message in a Bottle is one book that the reader will not be able to put down.Book Review: I recommend it

This is the first book by Nicholas Sparks that I have read. Basically it's about a divorced thirty something woman that finds an extraordinarily romantic letter in a bottle washed up on the beach. The letter was written by a man to his dead wife. She works for a newspaper, prints the letter, in time finds out who the letter writer is, where he is, and goes to meet him. The rest of the book is about the two of them, the relationship they develop, and the relationship with his deceased wife that he can't let go of. Anyway... after I finished the book my mother in law read it. She loved it. Then we rented the movie. We both agreed the book was better.
So read it.. I'm going on MOnday morning to the library to check out more books by Nicholas Sparks. He's good.
Book Review: A BOOK YOU WON'T SOON FORGET!!

After watching the movie, I could hardly wait to read this book. Though it had a heartbreaking ending, I love connecting to the characters when reading a book. While running on the beach, Catherine Osborne finds a letter closed in a bottle. She was very touched by the letter and knew she had to find the man that had written it. She printed the letter in the newspaper that she writes for. Because of the publication, two women sent letters they had found by the same man. She finds him and goes to North Carolina to get to know him. Garret's ever-changing feelings for Catherine and Theresa's and their perseverance to make the relationship work will touch you. I found this book hard to get over and I still relate to it today and begin to cry whenever I tell someone the story.Book Review: One of the most beautifully written books

Not one for romance novels or any of this lovey dovey stuff, reminds me of those Mills and Boons Books :) I rented the video as a change from action/thriller and I have to say I never cried so much in my life! It was a beautiful film and I had to set about looking for the book as I know how Hollywood likes to 'butcher' some well written novels ie Grisham and the book was even better than I expected! Read the novel and you will not be disappointed. Even though are some story discrepancies between the movie and novel. Whilst I knew the ending was coming I still cried. It makes you believe that true love exists and you can love again. The cynical people will believe what they want. But why Mr Sparks did you let hollywood have its wicked ways with your book....
