Book Review: This is the book I've been looking for.

I currently own the three major Cuban Tres books that are widely available in the US: Gonzalez's Tres Guitar Method book, Griffin's El Tres Cubano, and Peña's Fun with Cuban Tres. By far Peña's book is the best. It contains very useful study's and technical insights that are not found in either Griffin's book nor in Gonzalez's book. As a classical musician, I also found it helpful to see the music written in staff form with numbers indicating string and finger position (rather than a double line with staff and Tab). Fun with Cuban Tres is a serious attempt to express a classical pedagogy for this instrument while keeping it simple, informative, and entertaining.
