Book Reviews of Mass Effect: RevelationBook Review: What a great way to get into the story of Mass Effect before playing the game. Summary: 5 Stars
As I have just finish my 7th play through of Mass Effect the game, I understand the story that much better after reading this book. It really explains some of the other races and why there are so much hate towards the Alliance and human race. Understanding the story of Captain Anderson and the reason why...well I can't spoil it for you now can I. If you are into the game Mass Effect you should really get the books! Especially with Mass Effect 2 on the way!
Book Review: Karpyshyn Was an Instant Top Author for Me Summary: 5 Stars
I bought Mass Effect: Revelation about a month after I completed the first game. Being a prequel to the game, I was instantly drawn into the story because of it's interesting and similar-to-the-game nature. Drew managed to hold my attention with fantastic details and an overall interesting plot. I will not reveal the plot here mostly because I hate reviews that do so; they pretty much ruin the book for me. Definitely a good buy.
Book Review: Great Service! Summary: 5 Stars
When I ordered this book, I expected it to come in about 3 weeks as it notified me but It arrived in the mail a mere week and a half later! I chose the lowest shipping rate and got it way earlier than I expected! Not only early but it was sealed in a protective envelope along with a thank you note and not a single bent page or corner! I would highly recommend this to anyone else looking to buy this novel!
Book Review: Great Summary: 5 Stars
First off, I'm not much of a reader. I'm a gamer, and I've been a fan of all of Bioware's games. I've been following Mass Effect's development for a couple years now and figured I'd give this prequel book a gander.
I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a short read, with interesting characters and lots of grit and action. I'd recommend this book to any gamers/ sci-fi fans.
Book Review: Deep and engaging.... Summary: 5 Stars
Revelation is a great prequel to the Mass Effect game. It paints a perfect picture of the incidents that lead up to the game. The pacing was great, it never felt drawn out, and it sucked you right in. It had great imagery and now i can't wait to read Ascension. I definitely recommend this book, and I wished i would have read it before playing the game. But it's a great read either way.
