Book Reviews of Mass Effect: Revelation

Book Review: Awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is excellent. It reminds me of the Halo books, probably because they are both from video game origins, and have a lot of military influence.

Bottom line is, the story is good, the characters are very well fleshed out and the writing is nice.
Theres just something about this book that once i started reading i couldn't stop. I read it really quickly, and enjoyed it thoroughly.

If you like sci-fi, alien contact and military stories, you'll like this book.
Even if you don't want to play the game, or haven't played it.

Book Review: Simply Amazing
Summary: 5 Stars

From the Prologue to the Epilogue it was mind blowing, Revelation answered a lot of questions in the Mass Effect world and then some. it even went down to how it effected the religion and economy of earth after finding a bass on Mars and a Mass Relay orbiting Pluto which they all thought was the moon Cheron. I loved how they talked about the reason behind Saren Hating humans. and it also shows how he acts when he behaves during a mission, and how he executes it as well. i was simply blown away by Revelation and cant wait to read Ascension

Book Review: Creative story and very well told
Summary: 5 Stars

A must-read for Mass Effect fans. As you read, you can see the pieces falling into place for the plot of Mass Effect the video game. The characters, the politics, and the Mass Effect environment is alive in so much depth and detail that I found myself learning more and more about the series.
The plot of the story is well-detailed and the writing is very descriptive, from the flying bullets to the wisps of air as a Biotic power is about to be released.

Highly recommended book for a highly recommended game.

Book Review: Great Set-up
Summary: 5 Stars

After finishing Mass Effect, the game, I was yearning to experience more of this awesome universe created by Drew Karpyshyn. I have played KOTOR and read the Darth Bane book, so I was familiar with him, but this one just felt fresh and enjoyable. It certainly was a fairly quick read, with an ending that you will want to play the game immediately after!

This universe has much potential and I believe that this book sets it up very well and is an enjoyable read either before or after playing the game!

Book Review: Must buy for Mass Effect fans
Summary: 5 Stars

I just finished reading it a few days ago, and I gotta say, I surely was satisfied. I had already played and beaten Mass Effect 1 and 2 video games, and this just inhanced the experience. For those that have played the games, this book sheds some well deserved light into the back story between Captain Anderson and Saren's strong dislike for each other. I purchased this along with the second book, Ascension, and I certainly plan on reading this quite soon. I highly recommend this book, it was great.
