This is a beautiful cookbook; filled with some ordinary, but mostly out of the ordinary hors d'oeuvres that are sure to impress at your next party. The recipes are easy to follow and most are uncomplicated. Each recipe has a beautiful photograph. The book is also filled with helpful suggestions and cooking techniques! A must-have. This collection of recipes is wonderful for entertaining small and large groups, a casual family gathering or dazzle up a few for yourself. This is the top hors d'oeuvre book to own. i go back to this book time and again for perfect and impressive hors d'oeuvres. not only are they beautiful, they are just delicious. many of her basic building blocks, such as the hollowed out cucumber cups, allow you to improvise and use what's on hand. i have several of her books, and this one is my absolute favorite.Book Review: Basic Input Extraordinary Output

This book's organized into 2 sections, the first is photos, the second the recipes -- with a ribbon bookmark for each. The photos are fabulous, and the recipes aren't bad, either. Some ingredients may be hard to find outside major metropolitan areas, but the book includes a source reference at the end.
