Book Review: Another Great Martha Stewart Book

No matter what personal troubles may ail Martha, she cannot be faulted for this book. As with all her books, it's excellent! Beautiful photographs. Complete instructions for the recipes. Fabulous serving suggestions. It's a pleasure just to look through this book! I bought the hardcover edition as a gift for my sister because books like this are timeless and she'll be using it for many years to come. You won't be disappointed!Book Review: I rely on this book.

In my opinion, hors d'oeuvres are Martha Stewart's greatest strength. The recipes in this book are the last word in elegance, taste, and presentation. Be aware, however, that many recipes require last-minute attention.I have pulled off a couple of smashing parties at reasonable cost by preparing Ms. Stewart's recipes ahead of time as much as I can and then hiring college students to work before, during, and after the event.

I have a friend, Tom, who knows fish and bread better than anyone I have ever known, but even he can't come close to the recipes in Martha's newest book. The layout, presentation, and easy to follow instructions makes this book a "must have" on your shelf. Martha deserves six stars for this one. I wish I could have been there from the beginning to taste each and every recipe.Book Review: WOW

I love this book. I can sit for hours & pour over the beautiful pictures & fantasize party menus. These recipes are not for novices in the kitchen. I held a tea party for some girlfriends & made several delicious & beautiful dishes from this book and really worked HARD!!! If you like to cook, and serve delicious, well-planned meals, this is your book for Hor D'Oeuvres. The book is an exhaustively complete work that will give you plenty of choices for your next party. This work covers quite a range. Some of the recipes are simple, and others, so complex that I will never make them. In my opinion, this provides something for everyone.
