Book Reviews of Mama's Bank Account (Harvest/HBJ Book)Book Review: Way Back When Summary: 5 Stars
When I read this book I could go back to many years ago when most of the women in those days were just like Mama.Their concern, love, understanding, wisdom, wit, creative and hard work that they endured have made this country what it is today. If only we could instill some of these values in our people today what a difference it would make. This is a wonderful read and so glad that I could read a down to earth book like Mama's Bank Account'
Book Review: A Wonderful Story in the heart of San Francisco Summary: 5 Stars
With so many details in the news these days about sad events, these vignettes about Mama's wonderful way of making things work is a heart warmer. An encouraging book about a remarkable woman who can see life's possiblities in unique ways. Mama also had a passion for San Francisco and its melting pot of cultures making friends everywhere she is. I absolutely loved this book. An easy evenings read.
Book Review: A rare book treat that goes straight to your heart! Summary: 5 Stars
With the abundance of children's books available in today's market, there is not time for all of them. I would rate this book as a "must read" for children, and preferably to be read with their families. It is a book about universal themes of family values, acceptance, growth and love. I found myself often crying and smiling at the same time. A treasure!
Book Review: A tale of a remarkable woman Summary: 5 Stars
As an author, I bought this book to use as a reference book while writing a fictional story about a similar type of family. I read this book as a young woman and saw both the stage play and the movie. It is a touching tale of a more simple time and a remarkable woman. Book Review: mama's bank account Summary: 5 Stars
This book brought back alot of memories from when I was a kid. The t.v. show was popular when I was just a kid. Appreciated the book, probably more than the t.v. program, as I am older now, and can appreciate the kindness of human nature, and love of family. What a great trip down memory lane.
Thanks for having the book to offer.
