As soon as I laid eyes on it I knew it was for me. I was bored in an airport and decided to go to the bookstore (guess what I found?)This book provides in simple terms the basics of make-up for beginners. There are very diverse looks for anyone. I'm so excited now about putting on make-up! Trust me, you'll love it and it's a great gift. If you're thinking about purchasing it try amazon.com (it is cheaper)! Kevyn Aucoin is the true master of make up and his attitude that all women can be beautiful makes this a one of a kind book. As I am a complete make up junkie I have searched far and wide for books that show you how to do make up,and I must say this is my make up bible...everything you need to know about make up and its application. Kevyn is a genius and this book proves it. He is able to find the beauty in everyone and bring it out for the whole world to see. For each makeover he lists his steps and includes drawings showing how to recreate what he has done. I also enjoyed reading his autobiographical parts that he had included. Of all the makeup books I have looked at this is by far the best with wonderful pictures (some taken by Kevyn himself!)Book Review: Kevyn, is an amazing make up wizzard !

This book is all a make up pro needs ! It's a bit confusing for a amateur though . I put all my make up books aside after having this very special make up book. All those amazing makeover, techniques, tips, are very smart,awesome pictures , a lot of varieties of faces too ! Also how Kevyn explained about the person he made up is very friendly and warm.Highly, highly recommendable !Book Review: This is my Beauty Bible!!!

I loved this book!!! I refer to it all the time. I am a makeup junkie and I am always looking to try new things and this book has given me the courage and the amunition to do just that!! I have played with looks and colors that I would not have ordinarily and now I swear by false eyelashes when I need that extra touch of diva glamour.Thanks Kevyn for such a wonderful book!!!
