I have been sewing for 40 years and I still found this book so helpful. It gives cklear directions on how to create your own patterns, using your own measurements. I have only one other book remotely like this and it is in Japanese, metric and meant for teeny women. Make Your Own Dress Patterns works for any one, any size. If you have been wanting to do some designing on your own, make better alterations or better pattern corrections, you will find this book invaluable. It is easy to read and understand and easy to use!
