I have very mixed feelings about Lynda and its methods. I think the fact that they limit access to example and exercise material to those who pay a big (auto-renewing) annual fee is reprehensible (yes sir, the car is $500, but the keys to it are another $20,000 a year). Buying the video on disk is one way around that dilemma (sort of). I would say the videos do a fair job of covering the topic, although they need updating as some of the materials covered have changed substantially. Also the lack of discussion of things that can go wrong, common problems, errors, and complications, makes this title less useful than it ought to be. So, while I found it helpful as far as it went, it also left me wanting more than was offered. If you are setting Leopard Server up for the first time, this is probably a good purchase, but it can leave you stranded, so be prepared.
