Book Review: Much better than the TV movie!
Summary: 5 Stars
I saw the TV movie "Lucy" on CBS and loved it. When I found this book, I figured it would be like the movie, so I bought it. It is NOTHING like the movie! The movie barely tells you 1/4 of the stuff Lucy tells you in her book. Plus, the movie shows her being in a play in her hometown before she went into modeling. In the book, she develops rheumatoid arthritis and is sent home for a while, heals, and then does the play. I give the book 5/5 and the movie 4.5/5.Book Review: We all love lucy

I am a huge fan of Lucille Ball and this book was a real treat to read. You get to know the real Lucille Ball. It makes you feel as though you were sitting with Lucy and she is telling you her life story. Her book talks in depth about her relationship with Desi and her successful career and all the ups and downs to her life. It also mentions the running of Desilu productions and her children. For any Lucy fan i recommend this book, for you really will LOVE LUCY.Book Review: I Love Lucy

I've always been a huge Lucy fan, and recently bought this book. I finished it in a day. I love how classy she is. Desi had several affairs, but she never really talked about it in the book. She had the utmost respect for him and didn't bash him. I loved hearing about her life, and the things she did before "I Love Lucy." She was and always will be a legend. Revealing her multi-talents, always sure of herself and a firm believer that she knew she would make it as an actress, or better still a comedian. Lucy brought up in circumstances that caused her to be a responsible adult before her time helped her in her career. I have been a Lucy fan for a few years. This is by far The BEST BOOK about her, & who better to tell the story, then LUCY herself! I couldn't put it down! I read it in 7 days! I really don't like to read, But I REALLY loved this book. It's like Lucy is talking to YOU. I WILL be reading it again as soon as my husband is finished!I HIGHLY recommend this book to ANY LUCY fan!
