Book Reviews of Love, LucyBook Review: I Love Lucy Even More!!!!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Love, Lucy, by Lucille Ball is an Autobiography of Lucy that was found after her death. The book begings when she was a child, to her days as a movie actress in Hollywood, then to I Love Lucy fame, then how she started her second series The Lucy Show. It is just facinating to read about Lucy's life from Lucy herself. It is facinating to read about all she went through in her life, both her triumphs, and tribulations. I loved the part when she talked about creating I Love Lucy, and how it came about. She was a really great woman, and now after reading this memoir, i love lucy even more!
Book Review: Warm & Fuzzy Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book! It really made me feel warm and fuzzy about the actress I have enjoyed watching on reruns for years. While reading it, it sounded like Lucy was talking to me. I am glad I read this book before reading the biography about Lucy (which was not written by her, obviously). That other book definitely painted a less-appealing story, and included a lot of garbage about the actress, that was not necessary. This book is for anyone who loves the actress, and wants to learn more about who she was (without dragging up all the garbage). I truly recommend this book.
Book Review: My favorite Actress, Speaking out! Summary: 5 Stars
Lucille Ball is my favorite Actress and my all-time hero. I read this book, only because she is my hero, but I like mystery books. Lucille Ball has a wonderful sense of humor, as you already know, and she interwinds it in her book. This book has pictures of her and her family, tells about her life, and has some secrets inside that were never told. If you are a Lucy fan, like me, you will not want to pass up the opporunity of reading this book. Enjoy, her life! Sometimes it is sad to read, but you will pull through it and see the REAL Lucille Ball.
Book Review: It couldn't be told by anyone other than Lucy! Summary: 5 Stars
I remember the moment I opened this book. I was awed at the thought that I was about to enter into a whole new world--Lucy's world! I have read other books on Lucy but not one of them captured my heart the way 'Love, Lucy' did. It opened my eyes to her heart, her mind, her life. When reading it, I felt like she was talking to me, telling me about her deepest thoughts. Yup, just Lucy and me! No one else could have told her story...no one else could have captured her true feelings and thoughts...no one other than Lucy.
