When I began reading this book I was in a creative slump. Now, I'm journaling and collaging again with zest. I feel creatively renewed and inspired. The author is articulate and insightful about creativity, where ideas come from, and the differences between one artist's approach and another's. She poses thought-provoking questions.Her own enthusiasm regarding the creative process shines through. The photos and page layouts are intricate and arresting. The artists interviewed are varied: from Wendy Hale Davis who makes out-of-sight artists journals to Melissa Zink whose careful craftsmanship and techniques reveal an unusual mind. We see them in their workspaces and view many examples of their art. Open the book at any page and begin to read. Guaranteed you'll want to read more. I too like the size of the book, easy to carry and hold in the hand. All in all the best book on creativity I've read in awhile. And I've read quite a few.
