Being hooked on cruising tales, I zipped through this one in under a week. The story of 2 naval officers taking off on a boat together really puts them heads and tails over the rest of us who are thinking about the cruising life - they were trained for this very thing! As a result, they seemed to breeze through difficult aspects of cruising and the book was more about her struggle to let go of her former life in the spotlight. Suzanne's big ego and constant need for affirmation got old and tiresome. There's better books about 'living the dream' out there.
