Book Reviews of Line of Control (Tom Clancy's Op-Center, Book 8)Book Review: Great Beach Reading! A page turner. Summary: 5 Stars
Great book to toss in your bag and read at the beach. Line of Control is written in an easy-going style and you can read it in one or two sittings (I didn't want to put it down!) This is my second Op Center book (I also read Divide and Conquer) and now I want to go back and start at the beginning of the series. What I enjoy most is getting to know the characters and seeing how they react in different crisis situations. Obviously the author has researched the technical and political stuff but it never gets too heavy.
Book Review: A good read! Summary: 5 Stars
Ignore the rants and ravings of the Indian reviewers, get this book for what it is, a damn good read. Wakes you up to the fact that there are other fundamentalists in the world who are even more crazier than the Islamic ones we are told about in the press. If Rovin started using real unit numbers and facts you'd think the book was based on real-life events. The scenarios are totally plausible... just when you thought the OP-Center series was getting stale, up pops a corker !!. Excellent..
Book Review: Much more military action than usual Summary: 5 Stars
The authors have really done it right this time. Some of the Op-Center novels have emphasized intrigue, spying, politics, or domestic drama. This one has all of that but with terrific and somewhat shocking military action scenes as well.
Book Review: kasmir troubles Summary: 5 Stars
yet again another good OP center .The author wrote the book knows about the conflict between India and Pakistan .That is important to know about the background of a conflict if you are going to write about it.
Book Review: Cool Book...cover to cover Summary: 5 Stars
And that Mike Rodges is one cool dude. Makes me want to read all the Op Centers I missed.
