Book Reviews of Letters to Erik: The Ghost's Love StoryBook Review: One of the Best! Summary: 5 Stars
I have read many, many Phantom of the Opera fan fictions - both published and on fan fiction sites - and this is one of the best. It is well written, realistically and intelligently plotted, with wonderful characterizations. An Wallace did a superb job of showing us Christine's growth and maturity from a naive, immature girl awed and frightened by her teacher, the Phantom of the Opera, to an older and wiser woman who finally realizes just how much Erik means to her. A wonderful, wonderful sequel to the Phantom of the Opera story, and a must for any phan's library.
Book Review: A Phantastic Love Story Summary: 5 Stars
I am a phan of Leroux's Phantom of the opera. So I decided to order this wonderful story and can't wait to read it! I have read the reviews and saw that many have enjoyed it. The book sounds really fascinating. Look forward to reading it soon! Phantom of the Opera and it's many versions have inspired me to write my own Phantom book. To the author who wrote this book, thank you. I have always wanted to read a book that showed a happy ending for Erik. Keep writing!
Book Review: Great Book! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is amazing. If you're a Phantom Phan, buy it! It is sort of costly for a paperback book, but it's worth it. I would've paid twice as much if i had know just how good it would be. Christine and Erik...I LOVE THEM! I really think this book would be a wonderful addition to anyone's library. It's lovely. In this book real love NEVER fails. This book doesn't let you down at all! The ending is perfect. Really really perfectly put together....WORTH EVERY CENT!
Book Review: Romance at its finest Summary: 5 Stars
Letters to Erik delivers on it's promise as a Ghost's love story and then some. Wasn't sure how far the author would go in the romance department, but I wasn't disappointed in the least. Through Christine's letters to the deceased Erik the reader and Christine realize the deep feelings she had for the unhinged ghost. Familiar characters and new twists definitely keep the reader rivited to the love store of Christine and the Phantom. A must read for any PotO fan
Book Review: satisfying sequel Summary: 5 Stars
This author delivers an emotionally satisfying sequel to the Phantom of the Opera. There is continuity with the original novel, although the tone of the story becomes lighter. But this is to be expected as the reunion of Erik and Christine should be joyful. I do prefer this one over Susan Kay's book, which is excellent in its own fashion. I wanted a happy ending and I got it with this one.
