This is really a riot. I really don't like to give negative reviews, but this is ridiculous.
My poor Phantom has been turned into a Sesame Street character. Where is his edge? That is what made him so romantic.
Now he is a caricature of Gaston LeRoux's character. I hated this book. Just the fact that I had to give it a star
annoyed me. I don't believe it deserved even that. This book was written for children, not for adults or for those
who loved the play. Erik was a joke and forget about Christine. They had no depth no edgy aura about them. Can't say
enough about how much I hated this book. Sorry.
