Je suis une etudiante Americaine qui etudie la Francaise a mon ecole. Nous avons lu ce livre l'annee derniere, et je l'aime!!! C'etait nos devoirs pendant quelques semaines, et je pense que ce livre est un tres bon method pour apprendre la langue Francaise!

Book Review: A Favorite!!

It was worth taking French all through high school just to be able to read "The Little Prince" in its original language. I love this charming story and never tire of it, no matter how many times I read it. My original copy became dog-eared long ago, so I ordered a new book today. I can't wait to sit down and read it again. If you're like me and need to brush up on your French every now and then, I think this is the perfect way to do it!Book Review: Amazing.

I place this on a par, in it's own way, with Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet.
Deeply meaningful, cloaked in a tale of a child. I read part of it at my mother's funeral. Not that it is a sad story, per se. But there was not a dry eye in the house when I finished.
What it has to say on loving and on loss is absolutely worth more than this book costs and every minute you spend reading it.

I was required to read this book last year for my high school french class. At first I thought the story was really abstract and weird, but then I got into the story. I think another person who posted about this book went to my school because my teacher's name was Coop too. I think all French students should read this book a few times because it really is quite good.
