Book Review: To Struggle or Not to Struggle, That is the question

Reading K.M. Johnson's book for personal pleasure became a gift of personal gain. So often we encounter Christian books that include personal testimonies with which we sympathize and empathize, especially when reading for personal growth. This small, non-fiction, Christian self-help book discusses your relationship with God's work modestly.
K.M. Johnson's most current novel, Knowing the Struggle is Over is confidently written from a personal level where the reader is guided through three steps to identify his/her struggle. Whether you are deep within a struggle or not, Johnson challenges you to gather an understanding about yourself so that you will move forward with your life by using several principles including faith.
Johnson's unique approach engages the reader with questions and provides opportunities for self reflection. As she discusses and affirms her belief of God, she supplements her testimonies by using familiar Bible verses and stories. She acknowledges that "...this book is not for me to determine how to know my struggle is over, but a testimony and a guide to show you how I came to realize it, and how you can too through your own personal faith and understanding." Having a pen and paper close by will be a necessity when you begin to read this text.
