Book Review: Some Holiday!

I love a story that focuses on the relationships as well as on the mystery. Vaughn does an excellent job of that.
Kitty is supposed to be writing a book and having a vacation. Instead, she is creating her own pack, mentoring a new werewolf and, oh, yeah, trying to figure out who is trying to, at best, scare her witless. We find out the connection between Ben and Cormac and quite a lot of both of their history.
This book is fantasy but things like this, minus the weres, could really happen. It's not easy being different in small town America. Okay, it's not easy being different anywhere in America but in a place where the law is a force unto itself, it can be pretty dangerous. Kitty and Company find out just how dangerous.

After getting caught turning wolf on national television, Kitty retreats to a mountain cabin to recover and write her memoirs. But this is Kitty, so trouble is never far behind, and instead of Walden Pond, she gets Evil Dead. When werewolf hunter Cormac shows up with an injured Ben O'Farrell, Kitty's lawyer, slung over his shoulder, and a wolf-like creature with glowing red eyes starts sniffing around the cabin, Kitty wonders if any of them will get out of these woods alive...Contemporary Books
