Just As Long As We're Together by Judy Blume is one of Blume most popular books. She (Blume) once again paints a wonderful picture of girls in every day life.
In this review I will introduce each Girl in this story and their role in the book.
In this book there are a trio of best friends who are in the 7th grade. Stephanie Hirsch is the main character. the book is all from her point of view she is kind of over set and is not very "developed" that what Rachel says. she likes looking at the poster over her bed of a "hunk" that she named Benjamin Moore. In this book her parents split up. This news is very devastating for her. For a long time she doesn't tell her friends, until it comes to the surface the wrong way.
Rachel Robinson has been Stephanie's best friend since they've in 2nd grade. she is very smart and Miss perfect. She is taller than every girl in the 7th grade and acts and looks much older than she is. When Rachel and Stephanie get in a big fight they're not sure if they'll ever make up.
Alison Moncea, she has just moved in from LA. she is adopted Vietnam and used to live in Paris before LA. She tells Rachel and Stephanie that her dog talks to get them to be her friends, But it isn't true. Later the girls find out her mother is a movie star! Alison is very pretty and is the most popular girl in her homeroom. When she and Stephanie get close does Rachel get jealous?
In this entire book shows the value of friendship through thick and thin. read the book to find out the end and see what all happens.
