Book Review: The ultimate Cobain book...
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the ultimate Kurt Cobain book. It's amazing. You get a first hand look at what was going on inside of Kurt's head, not a second hand look at what some journalist gathered after spending 10 minutes with him. As cliche as this might sound, I feel like a different person after reading it. I have always been a Nirvana fan but ignorantly, I had no idea how incredibly intelligent Kurt Cobain was. He's a genius in every sence of the word. I have a whole new respect for the band and their music. While I don't think Kurt would appreciate his writings to be publicized in this way, I do think that if he knew how much of an impact this book made on not only me but so many others... he'd be humbled.

Book Review: Heart-Wrenching and deep, so why does it make me feel like this?
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a very very beautiful piece of rock 'n roll history. I bought it last night and I finished it early this morning. I'd been wanting to read it for the longest time. And I was so excited when I finished it. I know Kurt Cobain, my idol. I know him. But now I feet dirty, you know, like I stole, like I've done some kind of black magic. After all, how would you feel if someone mass produced your most secret and private thoughts and sold them to the world? That's what I thought. Don't get me wrong, I love this book, but

IF YOU WANT TO READ IT, BE PREPARED FOR THE GUILT THAT WILL FOLLOW. FOR THE TRUE KURT FAN, IT WILL BE OVERWHELMING.

Book Review: An open door to a private world
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is sort of forbidden for us, it was never meant to be a book , and yet it is the most interesting piece of reading you'll find signed by Cobain himself.

I guess when Courtney Love run out of money she made this written collage and offered it to the best buyer she could find.

if you're ok with "violating moral feelings" or "breaking an entrance" into someone's private life ,then this book is for you, but don't expect to find hidden secrets or bold statements, you have to remember it was Love's idea and certainly it was Love's editted version.

Book Review: 148
Summary: 5 Stars

There are 148 reviews to date for this book. Some of them praise it, some of them attack it, and a few are apathetic. All these responses only prove one thing. That Cobain's legacy, no matter what shape or form it takes on, will last forever. Every person who has written up a review has connected with this skinny blonde guy from Aberdeen. All of them have listened to his music and seen something in it, no matter what. Whether you think he was a "genius" or "a selfish drug addict" you have to admit that he still was something, something special that can't be replicated.

Book Review: courtney did what she did..
Summary: 5 Stars

From the reviews...courtney love did what she did to preserve the private life of kurt and herself and probably many other things, so she took out stuff she didnt want the whole world to know!! It seems like everyone wants to know EVERYthing about kurt, life can't be like that. IT seems like she keeps the stuff mainly about rock and roll and music...less the personal experiences...its a JOURNAL!. This is all based off the reviews, honestly I havent read the book, but people told me about it.
