Book Review: A Buffet of Advise, But Only Pick What You Need

The motivational tips for exercise were useful. There is a lot of great research and advice in this book, but there are a few not so great suggestions, as well. For instance, the author talks about using L-Carnitine and Co-Enzyme Q10, yet these supplements can be harmful to those with thyroid disorders. I also find her attitude towards heavier people ironic (she talks about turning down a date because he is appears overweight), being that she was once obese. At the same time, she is very careful to suggest that we not judge others for how they obtained their weight loss (she had bariatric surgery).
