The 3 year old who received this after Christmas reports great delight, and has demanded many re-reads of his "John Deer" book - but remains surprised there are "no deer" in it ! This is a good book for kids who love tractors. The pictures are very colorful. However, the story is a little too long for very young kids to sit & listen too. (youngest is 2 1/2 yrs old)
