`Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher' is one of the most amazing books I've ever read. It is action-packed with a short boy, a girl obsessed about relationships, and of course, a dragon from another world who donates hotfoots to cranky art teachers.
It is about a boy named Jeremy Thatcher and he accidently stumbles upon a magic shop when he's chased by a girl who wants to kiss him. Jeremy goes inside and buys a beautiful sphere for 25 cents from the shop owner, Mr. Elives, along with a piece of paper he gives Jeremy. At home, Jeremy reads the paper and it's titled `How to Hatch a Dragon's Egg'. That night on the full moon, Jeremy exposes the egg to three hours of moonlight and recites the poem that will hatch the dragon's egg. When the shell starts cracking, Jeremy takes it to his bedroom, and out comes... a baby dragon.
I like this book a lot, and anybody who loves to read books about dragons being taken care of with a boy communicating with it with thoughts will absolutely love `Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher'. I guarantee it. I give this book a rating of five stars, and I can't wait to read the sequel!!! I recommend this book to everyone.
