Book Review: Not read like a normal book!

The JPS Hebrew-English Tanakh book is a very nice book. I was surprise and amazed when I took the book out of it's box and begain looking through it, that's when I notice how strangly different the Tanakh book was made. You can't read this book like you would a regular book which I am used to? You have to turn it and read it the opposite way; that's what I found to be very uncomfortable for me and still is. I am thinking maybe the book company made a mistake when putting the book together? I don't know? Maybe this is how the Tanakh book is. I would be very appreciative if someone could let me know if this is normal for this kind of book? Thank you.

Book Review: Beautiful little book

This is a lovely book... beuatifully put together, a pleasure to hold and read, and with a limpid English translation. I had never seen a Jewish version of the scriptures before and this is a revelation.
Also, coming from Europe and buying this while on vacation in the US, I found the price amazingly low

The translation is excellent, as are all JPS translations. Having English and Hebrew side by side is helpful in learning some Hebrew. The only downside is that because it is a soft cover book, and there is so much material, the print is small and can be hard to read.Book Review: Books, not defined as pocket size

I was disappointed only in the fact that the book I ordered turned out to be pocket sized. The print was smaller than desirable for the person I bought the gift for. The book itself was very nice and was inclusive of all the material that was expected.

All I suggest is this: If you have a difficult time reading very small text, DO NOT BUY THIS.
Also, I was a bit put off by the bar-code printed in the inner cover.
Other than that, this is a fine translation, the book is well made.
