Book Reviews of It's Okay to Be DifferentBook Review: It's okay to be different is excellent! Summary: 5 Stars
We originally got this book from the library. My son has some speech issues, but let me tell you, this book he knows by heart. He can't read yet, as he is only four, but he knows all the words. He feels good because not all the people in the book are perfect. Everyone is special. And the bright colors make the book so fun to read.
Book Review: Just what today's children need Summary: 5 Stars
This book, like all of Todd Parr's books, is great. Simple, quirky, and basically, different.
I recommend all of Parr's books for anyone who wants to introduce children to the concepts of love, acceptance, and diversity.

My daughter received this book on her 1st birthday and as a 3 year old, she never tires of this book. The colors are vibrant and can be used as a great learning tool. We talk about colors, shapes and sizes.
Book Review: Such a wonderful book Summary: 5 Stars
I used this book as the topic of a week long unit that I taught. I love how this book teaches children about differences and how they are okay. I will continue to use this book in my teaching.
