Book Review: Those who dissed it misunderstood it.
Summary: 5 Stars
I was really surprised to see any negative reviews of this book. Maybe it isn't perfect, but I felt it was near perfect, especially having followed the previous books where Jaina has been training for this mission. The build up from that plus the fact that they don't just give it away until the end, really does a good job of setting you up for a great final battle!
The ending was sad, and without giving too much away, I just want to say that the emotional state of Jaina at the end is complicated and I think from reading some of the reviews people missed just exactly what this did to her. But I've followed Jaina from her childhood with Jason (Caedus) and perhaps coming from that backdrop it was more profound.
A great ride, as a Star Wars book should be!
