Book Review: A MUST HAVE for any Library!

Of the many books Anne Rice has written in the Chronicles and the newer series (Interview, Lestat, Queen, Body Thief, Memnoch, Armand, Pandora, Vittorio the Vampire, Merrick, Blood and Gold, Blackwood Farm, and Blood Canticle) this one exceeds the others in rich detail, pure feeling and human emotion. Louis is actually a reprentative of the author in the story and the tale actually pulls from her own life's experiences. Lestat, for example, is modeled after her husband Stan Rice. Claudia is modeled after her own child she and her husband lost. The depth of this story is brilliant as Mrs. Rice leads the reader into the dark world of the vampire. Her vampires have original sttributes, as well, not just borrowing from Stoker's works but truly unique abilities that have now carried over into other authors of this genres work. A must for any library and a treasure of a tale for the ages.
