Book Reviews of Inkheart (Inkheart Trilogy)Book Review: You NEED to read this book! Summary: 5 Stars
Cornelia Funke, has written many popular books for young adults, including, Dragon rider, The Thief Lord and more. However, none are as spellbinding as Inkheart and its sequel Inkspell. Funke has won numerous awards for Inkheart; it has been awarded A New York Times Bestseller, An ALA Notable Book, A USA Today Best Seller, A Publishers Weekly Best Children's book, and A Kirkus Reviews Editor's Choice.
Inkheart tells the story of a young girl named Meggie. Meggie is shocked to find that she has a powerful voice that can send things in and out of books! What she doesn't know is that this power is dangerous. A dark past awaits her in a secret world, to be discovered on one rainy, faithful night.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves books. Even for those who don't like fantasy, it spins you into a world of words and is hard to put down. It's an amazing book, meant for kids, but great for all ages!

Book Review: I got hooked as soon as I read the first page Summary: 5 Stars
Inkheart is a magically thrilling book. Cornelia really outdid herself by writing this book. I loved the way she incorporated fantasy in it but did not cross the line and make it way out of porportion. Meggie, a lover of books peers out of her window one night and sees a man in the rain staring in at her by her and Mo's (dad) garden. When Mo lets him in it's almost like they are old aqaintenses but Meggie has a bad feeling about the stranger. After that night her father wakes her up early in the morning and says that they have to go away for awhile to tend her ant's books. (he is a book binder) But when they start to pull out of the drivway the stranger appears in front of their car. This book is like no other that i have ever read and I strongly advise you to read this book and the sequel Inkspell that goes with it. Trust me, your going to love the ride you take when you read Inkheart.
Book Review: Bravo Summary: 5 Stars
This book is one of the most inspiried, orginial books I have ever read. Most of the fantasy books today have slumped off other works by other authors. Cornelia Funke puts a stop to this in her new world of Inkheart...
Meggie is absolutely crazy about books and her father is a book doctor. One night Meggie notices a stranger outside her house that soon is welcomed by Meggie's father and called Dustfinger. Meggie's father, Mo, keeps her stationed at her bed as he talks to his "old friend", but Meggie can't resist eaves dropping on her father...Soon after Meggie finds herself going through a fantasy adventure filled to the rim with villians, but being a hero isn't as easy as reading about one.....
Cornelia Funke has created a new world for the bored fantasy reader who just can't find an orginial!
Book Review: A Cant Put Down Book Summary: 5 Stars
My Opinion
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good book! But it is a heart-warming book if you forget about the evil Capricorn!!! It's a crazy thrilling book because Capricorn was trying to capture Meggie and use her as bait so Mo will come to her rescue and Capricorn can capture him. But then Capricorn realizes that Meggie can read the book and bring things to life also. Obviously Capricorn can not read it and bring this to life. So he has Meggie already. But he forgot that Mo was still coming to her rescue. I'm going to stop giving away the story so you can read it yourself. This book will get you hooked you won't want to put it down once you pick it up!! So go to your local book store and/or library and pick up this book I guarantee you will love it, I know I did!
Book Review: WOW. Summary: 5 Stars
This book is long and that doesn't go against it at all. I really enjoyed this book to the fullest. It took me a week to finish and I look forward to reading Inkspell which I'll read in a couple of weeks. Anyway, if you read this book, you'll look forward to reading Inkspell also. It's so exciting, IT'S NOT A DRAG! The story itself is awesome and I look forward to seeing the movie which I hope comes out soon. I'm a big reader and sometimes I think you can't get much better the C.S. Lewis and Lemony Snicket, but Cornelia Funke is definitely added to that list. I'm not going to say you will love this book because there were some people with negative reviews about it but that was only about 5%, but it still is some people, but you probably will like it, and I think Elinor and I are related.
