Book Review: Awesome Hulk Story

This is a great dramatic story of the Hulk on this savage planet. Definitely worth the buy. Going through all the struggles with the Hulk on his questto defy the image he has become to the humans- a monster- and become a true hero and to simply be accepted by the worl he has landed on. Great imagery for all the battles and introductions to new characters. Nice span and variety of characters. I now must read World War Hulk now that I know what Hulk went through to gain happiness.Book Review: A Great Representation of the Trade Paperback Format

For long-time comics readers, this is a great example of how the genre has evolved. Character and plot development are rich, dialogue and art are incomparably improved, and the creative teams manage to stay true to the original premise of the series. I don't read the Hulk regularly, but picked this and couldn't put it down. This is why people want TPBs to get more respect - they deserve it. Congratulations to Marvel and DC for continuing to raise the bar.Book Review: Quite possibly the best TPB Marvel has put out in years!!!

I wasn't even that big of a Hulk fan but this book made me one! Amazing story, amazing artwork, incredible concept. Best way to describe it is Hulk meat Conan with aliens, plus the Silver Surfer is in it!!! Very epic storytelling and very imaginative. Quite possibly the best TPB Marvel has put out in years. It's been a long time since a writer has written a story that allowed the Hulk to let lose and have a lot of fun while doing it. An additional bonus was Bruce Banner's absense from the majority of the story.
Greg Pak did an amazing job with one of my favorite Marvel characters.

So unlike what we usually read of the Hulk. So worth reading.
This is a saga the likes of which we have not seen from the Hulk series in a long time, if ever. Great story. Great action. Some great guest appearances. This has quality graphic-novel written all over it.
