My baby is due in five weeks and we've been reading this to my two year old for a few months. She loves the book and now finishes sentences while I'm reading it. Its simple, not too descriptive, and is getting her excited to be a "Big Sisser"...as she calls herself now. We use our names in addition to Mommy, Daddy, and Big Sister, to relate it more to us.Book Review: Developmentally appropriate

Excellent book! My 21-month old daughter immediately identified with the big sister in the story. The pictures are very informational and the words of the story are the right length for reading to a toddler. I am very impressed by this author/publisher.
