My 2 1/2 year old took great interest in this book from the first time we read it. He's still not quite putting together the fact that there is a baby in mommy's belly, but he seems very excited to be a big brother now. He definitely likes the distinctions of what he can do that the baby will not be able to do.Book Review: Great book!

My son is 25 months old and is expecting a new brother or sister next month. I'm not sure if he really understands it all yet, but this book has been fun to read and he knows the concept of big brother now. I bought this book for my six year old nephew who is going to get a baby sister in May 2008. I read the book when it arrived at my house. This will help a lot to understand that things will be different when the new baby comes and the first child is no longer the center of attendtion but can help with adult supervision. I got one for my granddaughter then bought Big Brother for a friend whose daughter is expecting her second child.
