Book Reviews of the Iceberg (Dirk Pitt Adventure)Customer Review: So funny I peed my pants Summary: 1 Stars
Iceberg, by Clive Cussler, is one of the funniest books I have ever read. At certain parts of the book I was literally gasping for breath at the absurdity of what Mr. Cussler has written. I take my hat off to Mr. Cussler for taking the time to include every cliche known to mankind in his novel, from our cool, calculating, and dashing young hero, to the stunningly beautiful villainess. In several scenes our hero narrowly avoids his demise by using his wits and quick reflexes, perhaps Mr. Cussler was trying to keep us on the edge of our seats "Wow, our dashing young hero Dirk just took out a fighter jet with a little unarmed helicopter! He's my hero!", but he had me rolling on the floor, passing out from laughing so hard. The only reason I even bothered to finish the book was because I was absolutley amazed at the level of crap that could be turned out by a famous author and still be a best seller. So I thank you Mr. Cussler, for providing me with countless hours (I reread the really funny parts several times) of entertainment.
