Book Reviews of I Vigili Del Fuoco (Language - Italian - Whiskerville Books)Book Review: Not for a 1-3year old Summary: 3 StarsIt's difficult to find Italian children's books here in the U.S. so when I found this series I bought the entire set. It's all in Italian which I liked, but the words are not words that you would typically use for an infant to up to say 3 years, which is the time that you would want to expose them to another language. I found that the words are too mature for them. The Elmer series are better for younger children. A very good book if you can find it is "Pronto?" which is geared towards infants and up.
Book Review: Wonderfully Sweet Italian Summary: 5 StarsI bought this book for my two and half year old son for Christmas. He saw it before I could wrap it and wanted me to read it to him. We speak English in our home, but I want him to be exposed to other languages and cultures. HE LOVES THIS BOOK! We read it so many time in a row that I had to hide it and he kept asking for it. I am sure he will be very happy to open it on Christmas and have me read it to him another 100 times. I am sure this has opened him up to Italian.
Book Review: I Vigili Del Fuoco Summary: 4 StarsCharming board book about a visit to the Fire Station. Mice characters are cute. No English translation but easy to transcribe.
