James Patterson is such a great writer and I so enjoy his books. He should never co-author with anyone. What a waste of talent. This book will not let you down. This is James Patterson all the way. Alex Cross' niece is murdered and during his investigation, he finds out she is a call girl. I won't give away the story because you will want to follow his twist and turns that he writes so well. I have been an Alex Cross reader for a while now and i Find that all I have read are excellent. For that reader that dissed I Alex Cross...sorry for your loss. but I can bet many others of us enjoyed this read and are looking forward to the next. Another great Patterson book. Page turner et.al. Wonderful to be back with Alex Cross. He is true to form. The book is a bit gruesome as it is overtly, graphically violent in spots. I have found Patterson's books are getting more and more hard to digest from that standpoint since Swimsuit. I would like to see him stick a bit more to the old formula. Nevertheless, I feel safer with the Alex Cross character.Book Review: Great story!

I was not disappointed by this latest Alex Cross book. It kept my interest and made me want more when it ended. James Patterson is great and I always want to get his books as soon as them come out. The story line in this one was doubly catching as it included a horrible murder of one of his family members so made him twice as interested in finding the killer. James Patterson and Alex Cross go together like Caribbean Coffee and Cane Sugar. Overall, this book is a great addition not to be consumed in sips. While I am not a huge fan of short chapters, I do like how Mr. Patterson keeps the story organized. The switching between action and exposition worked in this book and it provided more depth to Alex. Pick this book up for the holidays!
