Book Reviews of I, Alex Cross

Book Review: Back To Business
Summary: 5 Stars

I have to say that I haven't even bought some of James Patterson's latest books. I did enjoy the last Alex Cross book minimally though only because I enjoy the series as a whole.

This book does get back to why I like the Cross series so much. The only thing I didn't enjoy about ths book was the violence involving woman and sex in this book. Sure alot of books alude to it but I don't need or appreciate the details. I didn't even read Swimsuit for that reason.

But beyound that...this mystery as well was a easy read. It is typical cookie cutter James Patterson. But on somenights that is enough for me. I am looking forward to Kyle and Cross in the future as this ending implies!

Book Review: Wonderful! Welcome Back Patterson!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have to say, I am very happy that Mr. Patterson seems to have his mojo back! I have not enjoyed his forays in "partnering" with other authors and his off subject books. I loved this story and couldn't put it down. I was totally caught up in the main story of who the murderer was, but had it figured out pretty much mid-way through. The characters were wonderful and I was very worried about Nana! When I worry about the health of a fictional character, I know it's a good read!

Welcome back Mr. Patterson.

Book Review: How nice to have Alex Cross back, thank you Patterson!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was a good read, like coming home with the Cross family all over again.
I appreciated the family being involved (kind of like an old set of friends reuniting after reading all his other books!)and the mystery was classic Patterson style. It moved, kept my pages turning, for sure, through some gruesomeness that was a bit challenging to read, but needed to develop the sick nature of the bad guys involved.
I enjoyed this book for all the reasons I enjoyed the other Cross books, page turning entertainment!

Book Review: Thrilling James Patterson Does It Again
Summary: 5 Stars

This book I, Alex Crossis fast-paced and continues the life of Alex Cross. Alex is getting older, the story opens with his Birthday party and that is the last of the good things for a while. You'll have to read it to believe it, and as always the author's books leave me wanting to read more books about this character, Alex Cross. Nana Mama's health begins to fail and Bree (Alex's love interest) helps in a way unexpected.

Book Review: I,The reader
Summary: 5 Stars

When I anticipate reading a new Alex Cross book, I do make an assumption that it will have a complex and curious plot and that there will be a story of family and friends in the mix. As with all the other Alex Cross adventures, I felt like I became a personal friend of Alex and his family with opinions and feelings of my own to share during my reading. On some Saturday morning, I would enjoy stoping in and having coffee with Alex and his family.
